If you searched True Botanicals MADE SAFE certified, you probably saw the claim on an Amazon listing and want to check it at the source. We did that on October 23, 2026 for three products: Chebula Extreme Cream, Chebula Active Serum and Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm. Each one is listed in the certifier’s own product directory, and each was in stock on Amazon the same day.

The one certification basis we state for all three is MADE SAFE® certified. That is not an EWG rating. MADE SAFE® is a separate program run by a separate organization from EWG VERIFIED® and EWG Skin Deep®, and nothing on this page rests on an EWG source.

What MADE SAFE® Certified Covers

MADE SAFE® explains its screen on its certification standards page. It says products seeking the seal “are screened to validate that over 15,000 Banned / Restricted List substances have been avoided or constrained,” and calls this “only the first step in our unique Ecosystem Approach to screening.” In plain terms, the mark is about what goes into the formula, checked against a published list.

It does not tell you how well a product works, whether it will suit your skin, or any health outcome. A certification listing is not a guarantee, and we make no health or safety claims about these or any products. For the longer explainer, see what MADE SAFE certified means.

How the Three Differ

On the facts we checked, they differ in product type, size and price. The cream is $110.00 for 1.7 oz, the highest price on the page. The serum is $90.00 for 1 fl oz. The balm is the lowest in price at $52.00 and the largest at 3.4 fl oz.

If price is your deciding factor, the balm costs the least per ounce and the least overall. Between the cream and the serum, the serum is $20.00 lower. If you already use a product type and want the MADE SAFE® listing to match, pick by type. We are not saying one does more than another; the certifier’s wording is identical for all three, and we make no claim about results.

Looking for options on a different basis? Our non-toxic face serum guide, face moisturizer guide and makeup remover guide rest on a different certifying body than the one used here. True Botanicals also has a Chebula eye patches listing and a lip oil listing in the directory. See our MADE SAFE Certified Belly Oil: True Botanicals Mindful Mama Spotlight.

Check the Exact Item Before You Buy

The directory wording covers “all currently available sizes / packaging options,” so confirm the item and size on the Amazon page. Subscribe & Save prices may differ from the buy-box price, and prices and availability change.

What We Did Not Check

We read only these three directory listings. We make no claim about the rest of the True Botanicals range, and we did not evaluate ingredients, performance or how any product suits your skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is True Botanicals MADE SAFE® certified?
The certifier’s directory lists these three products as MADE SAFE® certified as of October 23, 2026. We make no claim about every True Botanicals product, so check the exact item you are buying.

Is MADE SAFE® the same as EWG VERIFIED®?
No. They are separate programs run by separate organizations. This page states MADE SAFE® certified only and makes no EWG claim.

Does MADE SAFE® certification mean a product works or is right for my skin?
No. The certifier describes an ingredient screen. It says nothing we can quote about performance or how a product suits your skin, and we make no health or safety claims.

Does the certification cover every size?
The directory says “all currently available sizes / packaging options.” Confirm that your Amazon item is the product and size named here.

Certification information comes from MADE SAFE’s public product directory and certification standards page as read on October 23, 2026. Prices and stock are from Amazon on the same date and can change.
