About NonToxicFinder
Our Mission
NonToxicFinder exists to help families effortlessly find and buy products top-rated by EWG and other independent certifications. Sifting through ingredient lists and database ratings takes time most parents do not have. We do that work so you do not have to.
We report on products that have earned strong ratings from the Environmental Working Group (EWG), MADE SAFE, GOTS, GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX, NSF/ANSI, and Leaping Bunny, among others. Each of these organizations sets its own standards independently of NonToxicFinder. We surface their published data; we do not conduct our own testing or issue our own certifications.
How We Work
- We report published certification data. We look up each product in the publicly available databases of EWG (Skin Deep, Guide to Healthy Cleaning, EWG VERIFIED®), MADE SAFE, GOTS, NSF/ANSI, GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX, and Leaping Bunny. We state one certification basis per product so readers know exactly which standard a rating comes from.
- We verify stock and prices via the Amazon API. Product availability and price data are checked through the Amazon Associates API. Links on this site connect to Amazon product listings. Prices and availability can change; we recommend confirming before purchase.
- We earn affiliate commissions. NonToxicFinder (Solved Labs LLC) participates in the Amazon Associates program and other affiliate programs. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the site. Every page with affiliate links carries this disclosure.
- We are not affiliated with any certifier. NonToxicFinder (Solved Labs LLC) is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the Environmental Working Group, MADE SAFE, GOTS, NSF/ANSI, GREENGUARD, OEKO-TEX, Leaping Bunny, or any other certification body. The ratings we report are theirs, not ours. EWG VERIFIED® is a trademark of the Environmental Working Group.

Tim started NonToxicFinder to make EWG’s public ratings easier to act on: one place to check a product’s score and see the top-rated alternatives. He is not a scientist or a medical professional. This site curates publicly available EWG data and links to the original sources so you can verify every rating yourself.
Editorial Policy
How products are chosen
Products appear on NonToxicFinder because they have earned a strong rating in at least one recognized independent certification program (EWG Skin Deep, EWG VERIFIED®, EWG Guide to Healthy Cleaning, MADE SAFE, GOTS, GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX, NSF/ANSI 61, or Leaping Bunny). We do not accept payment for inclusion or placement. Commission eligibility through affiliate programs does not influence which products we cover.
One-certification-basis rule
Each product is described with a single stated certification basis: the specific program and rating that justifies its inclusion. We do not stack certifications in a way that could overstate a product’s standing. If a product holds multiple certifications, we note the primary one and may list others separately.
Corrections
If you believe a product rating is outdated, a certification claim is inaccurate, or content contains an error, please contact us at hello@nontoxicfinder.com. We review correction requests and update content when warranted.
