What MADE SAFE® Certification Covers

MADE SAFE® is an independent nonprofit program. Its certification standards page says products seeking the seal “are screened to validate that over 15,000 Banned / Restricted List substances have been avoided or constrained” and that “Companies must disclose all known added substances in a formulation for MADE SAFE to review”. The certification is an ingredient screening of the formula.

What it does not cover: it does not test absorbency, fit or comfort, and it is not a health guarantee or a medical claim for any person. NonToxicFinder makes no health or safety claims about the products below. You can check current status yourself in the MADE SAFE® product directory.

Natracare Maxi Pads, Super

The directory lists Maxi Pads from Natracare under Menstrual Pads + Liners. Its page reads: “MADE SAFE® Certified in currently available packaging options, including the following shapes / sizes: Night Time, Regular, Super”. This wording names three shapes / sizes rather than saying all sizes, so the exact one matters.

Only one of the three is available for us to link. The Amazon listing (ASIN B00DZ00ET4) is titled “Natracare Natural Traditional Style Maxi Pads, Super, Individually Wrapped, Without Wings in Plant-Based Bag (1 Pack, 12 Pads Total),” and was in stock at $9.21. That title says Maxi and Super, matching the directory entry. We link only the Super listing, because its title confirms the exact product.
