The scores reflect EWG’s analysis — they are not regulatory approvals or safety guarantees, and EWG is an independent nonprofit with no affiliation with this site.

EWG VERIFIED® is EWG’s certification mark for products that meet its strictest standards for ingredient safety and transparency. To carry the EWG VERIFIED® mark, a product must avoid EWG’s chemicals of concern, meet good manufacturing standards, and be fully transparent about its ingredients.
