If you searched for a MADE SAFE certified body wash, you already know the seal is its own thing. It is not an EWG rating and not an EWG VERIFIED® mark. This page is a spotlight on one body wash that appears in the MADE SAFE® product index: Kosmatology’s Botanical Bliss Lavender Eucalyptus Body Wash.
What the MADE SAFE® Seal Covers and Does Not
MADE SAFE® is a nonprofit certification that screens a product’s ingredients against its own Banned/Restricted list. Our explainer on what MADE SAFE certified means goes through the criteria in full.
The limits matter just as much. The seal is about ingredient screening. It does not test how well a body wash cleans, it does not say how your skin will react, and it is not a safety guarantee. We make no health or safety claims about any product on this page. See our MADE SAFE Certified Foot Care: Kosmatology Foot Balm and Scrub Spotlight.
The Product: Kosmatology Botanical Bliss Lavender Eucalyptus Body Wash
MADE SAFE®’s index lists Kosmatology’s body wash as certified “in all currently available sizes / packaging options,” and names Botanical Bliss, the lavender and eucalyptus scent, among the certified scents. You can read the entry yourself on the MADE SAFE® product index. The brand’s own body wash page lists the ingredients as water, olive oil, potassium hydroxide, sodium chloride, shea butter, castor oil, lavender oil, and eucalyptus oil. That list comes from the manufacturer, and we have not audited it.
One identity note: the Amazon listing we checked is titled as a lavender and eucalyptus body wash in the 8 oz size and does not use the words “Botanical Bliss.” We matched it on scent and size. Compare the bottle you receive with the certifier’s scent list if the exact scent matters to you.
Certification basis: MADE SAFE®, the only basis we state for this product. We make no EWG claim for it.
Size: 8 oz · ASIN: B01I5ZWFGI
Price and stock: We saw it at $12.99 on October 16, 2026, with limited stock. Both change, so check the current listing.

Why This Is a Spotlight, Not a Ranking
When we checked, the pool of MADE SAFE® certified body washes we could verify came to two products. That is too few to build a ranked list without padding it, so we profile one product in detail instead. This is not a claim that no other certified body wash exists. The index changes, and a brand can earn the seal at any time.
How This Differs From Our EWG-Basis Body Wash Guide
Our guide to EWG VERIFIED® body washes uses a different organization and a different set of criteria. Neither basis stands in for the other, and we are not endorsing one over the other. If you want a wider set of options to compare, start there. The same certifier also appears in our MADE SAFE certified baby wash spotlight, which covers a different product for a different audience.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does MADE SAFE® certify on a body wash?
MADE SAFE® screens the ingredients in a formula against its own Banned/Restricted list. It does not test performance and it is not a guarantee of safety for any individual.
Is MADE SAFE® the same as EWG VERIFIED®?
No. They are separate programs run by separate nonprofits with their own criteria. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with either one.
Does EWG rate this body wash?
We are not stating an EWG rating or EWG VERIFIED® status for it. The only basis we give is MADE SAFE®.
Do other Kosmatology scents carry the seal?
The MADE SAFE® index entry names several scents. This page covers only the lavender and eucalyptus one, so check the index entry for the others. See our MADE SAFE Certified Body Lotion.
How is this different from the MADE SAFE® baby wash page?
Same certifier, different product and audience. The baby wash spotlight profiles a wash made for babies, while this one is an adult body wash.
