Fabuloso's current EWG listings do not share a single grade. The records we checked include B-rated Complete cleaners and D-rated formulas. A verdict about the whole brand can hide differences that matter when you are standing in the cleaning aisle.
There is another easy mistake: applying the grade for a 10X concentrate to a 2X bottle with the same Lavender scent name. Those product descriptions are not interchangeable.
Is Fabuloso safe? What the specific EWG records say
These listings in EWG's Guide to Healthy Cleaning were checked September 20, 2026. The grades describe the listed formulations. They do not establish your exposure or a health outcome from using a cleaner.

The Passion Fruit record was updated June 5, 2026 and describes ingredient disclosure as "some." These checked records do not support calling every Fabuloso cleaner F-rated. They also do not establish that the B-rated formulas meet EWG's separate verification standard.
2X and 10X Lavender are not the same record
Fabuloso's current US Lavender page describes a 2X concentrated cleaner. The EWG entry in our table explicitly names 10X Concentrate. We have not established that those formulations are equivalent, so we do not assign the 10X record's D grade to the 2X bottle.
That leaves a useful, honest limit: this comparison does not give a verified EWG grade for your 2X Lavender bottle. To evaluate it, compare its ingredient information with a matching record rather than choosing the closest-looking search result.
The manufacturer's 2X page specifies one-eighth cup per gallon of water for dilution. Follow the directions on your own container; that amount should not be carried over to a differently concentrated cleaner. Concentration affects both how you use a product and the cost of a prepared bucket.
What the letter grade can tell you
EWG's cleaning ratings evaluate ingredient hazard information and disclosure. They do not account for actual exposure or individual susceptibility. A grade cannot establish whether a particular person or pet will react, and it does not measure cleaning performance on your floor.
"Complete," a pleasant scent and a long-lasting smell are not third-party certifications. Neither is a B grade. Look for a product-specific verification record if certification is the standard you want your next cleaner to meet.
One unscented alternative for everyday spray cleaning
ATTITUDE Nature + All-Purpose Cleaner, Unscented is listed as EWG VERIFIED®. The record was updated January 19, 2022. Check the current package against that formula rather than extending the designation to every ATTITUDE cleaner.
Check ATTITUDE All Purpose Cleaner Spray, Unscented, 27 fl oz, on Amazon. This is a spray-format alternative, not an equivalent amount of concentrate. Compare how you intend to use it and which surfaces its label permits before comparing bottle prices.

What should I check before replacing my bottle?
- The complete product name, scent and concentration.
- The ingredient list and update date in the matching EWG record.
- The surfaces and dilution instructions on your current package.
- The cost for the amount you will actually use, rather than bottle size alone.
A small first purchase gives you room to assess a different format before buying in bulk. You can make one informed change without replacing every cleaning product at once.
